Research Interest

My research interests lies in the area of Stem Cell  Systems Biology, Cellular trans- differentiation, Obesity & Metabolic disorders, Network Medicine, Drug Repurposing.

Presently, I am working in two broad areas:

(1) Drug discovery associated with Obesity and type II diabetes using Network Medicine based approach, and

(2) Small molecule induced reprogramming of non-adipocyte cells to brown adipocytes for its potential use as anti-obesity drugs. Besides these, I am also involved in drug discovery associated to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) using the Network Medicine approach.
